Arquitecta de formação e criativa portuguesa a viver e trabalhar no Porto, Telma desenvolveu, ao longo de sua experiência internacional, um gosto particular pelo protótipo. Esta busca levou-a a explorar materiais que traduzissem uma experiência única para quem usa suas criações. TelmaDA® nasce de um conceito que articula os princípios da arquitectura com o design, numa linguagem própria. Com foco em sustentabilidade e circularidade, utiliza principalmente materiais industriais, conferindo-lhes nova plasticidade e usabilidade. A leveza no design é levada a sério. Todo o trabalho é manual, realizado por Telma em todas as fases e processos, em séries únicas e limitadas, garantindo a exclusividade de cada peça. A irreverência e exclusividade são pilares do seu trabalho, no minimalismo das linhas simples e intemporais, sempre numa vertente de “DESIGN para USAR”. A plasticidade é expressa na materialidade como afirmação e visão do mundo, seja na joalharia ou nas artes plásticas.
An architect by training and a Portuguese creative living and working in Porto, Telma has developed a particular interest in prototyping throughout her international experience. This pursuit has led her to explore materials that convey a unique experience for users of her creations. TelmaDA® arises from a concept that articulates the principles of architecture with design, using a distinctive language. With a focus on sustainability and circularity, she primarily utilizes industrial materials, giving them new plasticity and usability. The lightness in her design is taken seriously. All work is manual, carried out by Telma in every phase and process, in unique and limited series, ensuring the exclusivity of each piece. Irreverence and exclusivity are cornerstones of her work, characterized by minimalist lines that are simple and timeless, always within a “DESIGN TO USE” approach. Plasticity is expressed through materiality as an affirmation and vision of the world, whether in jewelry or visual arts.
